The cost of a new tablet of Pfizer’s Viagra may be less than those of generic versions, a new analysis has found.
The latest research shows that up to a third of men who use Viagra, use a generic version of the drug that is cheaper than the brand name.
In an analysis of data from the European Pharmacovigilance Programme, researchers from the University of the Grenadines and the Medical University of Theyeplaat found that the cost of Viagra, for example, was around 10 times that of the brand name, compared with 10 times the cost of Viagra tablets.
